Boracay was fun and adventurous!

The event that I would probably remember most about this place would be island hopping. It’s a once in a lifetime experience! Why once in a lifetime? Because I won’t repeat that anymore, especially in Boracay! Next time the boatmen would ask if we still want to continue despite the high waves, we would know what to say already. But I must say, the “captain” was very good. Well I’m still alive to tell the tale. Others are not so fortunate, I hear.

Then there’s the Banana boat ride. At 200 Pesos for the short ride, it’s not cheap but it’s definitely exhilarating. Riders beware! You’ve got to hold on tightly to the handles or you’ll get tossed over to the water. Well, at least there’s a life vest.

The island has other attractions, such as horse-back riding, all-terrain-vehicle riding, parasailing (which I really want to try!), and helmet diving, to name a few. I heard there’s even a helicopter ride. Obviously, our cash was not enough to let us experience these other activities.

And who would forget the nightlife? Every few meters of the 5-kilometer stretch of white beach is alive at night with different bands entertaining the crowd. For free! It’s actually this night life that attract most people to the island.

Finally, the trinkets are just so attractive and cheap that it’s tempting to spend lots of money on them. Kids are especially vulnerable to this temptation, to the detriment of their parents’ wallets.

Boracay is such a flurry of activities. That’s exactly why it’s a worthwhile travel destination. But to make the most of this experience, one’s got to have cash.

5 ideas on what to do in Buenos Aires if you only have one day to explore the city.

One day is not enough to truly get a feel for Buenos Aires, but it is better than no time at all. Crank up the pace and fit a few activities into your day or take it slow, sit back and watch an Argentine day unfold.

Spanish Crash Course for Urban Adventures

There is no better way to increase those memorable holiday moments full of local experiences than by understanding a little of the language. A half day Spanish crash course wont have you debating in parliament but it will increase your confidence and understanding of basic words and phrases. The Urban Adventure course tests your new knowledge with a class excursion to talk to shop keepers as students are responsible for ordering the picnic lunch. You shouldn’t go hungry in this fun and educational language activity.

Buenos Aires by Bike

Buenos Aires may seem like a hectic city but join an expert guide and travel the backstreets and bike paths to explore new sights as well as tourist highlights such as the Recoleta cemetery. Flat terrain, easy pace and plenty of time to stop for photos and drinks make a bike tour the perfect way to discover Buenos Aires.

Walking Tour

Lace up your walking shoes and hit the pavement. Grab your guidebook and a map and plan your circuit, or let fate direct you and head off in any direction where you will no doubt come across stunning architecture, interesting history and friendly locals. The city centre is a great place to start with Plazas, historic buildings and wide avenues. Move towards the neighbourhoods of Palermo, Recoleta or San Telmo for a different perspective of city life.

Hop On / Hop Off Bus

The double decker hop on /hop off tourist bus travels around the most known areas of Buenos Aires. If this is your only day in the city and you want to see as much as possible this is a great option. The bus leaves from the booth on Florida street and the added audio commentary gives you information about the sights you see. Make the most of the service and get off at locations such as the colourful street of Caminito or the parks of Palermo.

Tango

The tango was born in Buenos Aires, it is the national dance and a trip to Argentina isn’t complete without at least one passing glance at a tango couple. If you feel the beats, attend a short class and learn the basic moves. And if dancing is your passion head to a midnight milonga, a dance hall where you can carve up the dance floor. If on the other hand you have two left feet, watching someone else dance may be a better option so head to the theatre for a tango show performed by expert dancers.

It is impossible to see all of Buenos Aires in one day, so if you can extend your visit so you can explore one of the most fascinating destinations in South America.

Buenos Aires is not a quaint country town. It is a full steam ahead bustling capital city. The constant movement and somewhat semi disorganised street chaos usually results in a newcomer avoiding joining the traffic flow as a cyclist. But if you know where to go and how to become part of the streetscape Buenos Aires by bike is the best way to view the city.

Buenos Aires boasts numerous open so there is no need to attempt to tackle the microcentro, the dense small one way streets that make up the central business district. These inner city roads are barely large enough for one vehicle let alone a bus, a motorbike, a parked car and a cyclist.

Away from the blasting horns and bus exhausts are the leafy green parks of Palermo, the dirt tracks of the Ecological Park Costanera Sur or the public transport free area of Puerto Madero, all of which are great areas for cyclists. The roads are flat, the pace can be slow and it is the way to enjoy the city from a new perspective.

The local government of Buenos Aires has also recently opened a network of bike paths. This opening was celebrated by the team of guides at Buenos Aires Urban Adventures as they had always wanted to share the city with tourist by travelling by bike but many travellers couldn’t see past the mayhem of the inner city.

Now the new bike paths offer the opportunity to be separated from the traffic and with an expert local guide the one day tour of Buenos Aires by bike is the new hot trip of Urban Adventures. Tours visit the sight seeing highlights and use back streets and bike paths to travel between points of interest.

So throw on some lycra and get ready to pedal and join a Buenos Aires Urban Adventure.

By definition, is temporary rental property income for periods not exceeding 6 months.

The apartments rentals in Buenos Aires meet the different needs of all tourists visiting the region every year. Thus, the departments of Buenos Aires are guided by a hand to those who are conducting a business trip and, therefore, must develop an activity related to their field of work.

It is known that the city of Buenos Aires offers a range of cultural activities, specific courses, undergraduate and postgraduate, that have a high compliance by students from foreign countries. This offer is what generates the demand for rental apartment in Buenos Aires by the students who enter the country and need temporary housing for the duration of their studies.

Moreover, the offer of apartments in Buenos Aires is intended more to those who find pleasure travel. Renting a fully equipped house offers the visitor a range of benefits, no doubt, travelers want to enjoy. In this case, this type of tourists are divided into: Argentines living abroad and are walking around the city, others who want to invite relatives or friends to sleep, families with children who need the comfort of home, or people who are simply passing through the city and choose to extend their stay beyond the usual.

As can be seen, the temporary apartments in Buenos Aires is one of the alternatives chosen by those who decide to spend a few days or as long as enjoying the homely comfort away from what is supposed to be found in fourth hotel.

Cruises UK. Do you live in UK and want to start your trip from one of it’s sea ports? Then this article is for you, cause I will mention the most part of them where you can start cruising from. Actually it is not a must to start a journey from the country of your living. If you are interested in some special cruise and it starts from Italy, as an example, you can always go to Italy by plane and then join the ship there. On another hand as an advantage of cruises as a different type of travelling is shipping. It is the best way of travelling for those who are afraid of planes. Also direct cruising without a flight makes your trip cheap and saves money on insurance. So where to go from the UK by ship and what sea port to choose? Let’s see.

From what to start with ? It is a common rule that every trip starts with going to an airport and wait for the flight. As for all cruises – it is all the same, you just go to the pier. If you go by car, it will be parked by the parking attendant, the same person will care about your luggage – the bags will be brought to the cabin. Starts nice, does not it? Like if you arrived to a hotel. Do you know that you can take as much bags as you want? Great travel way for women!

Cruises from Southampton. Cruise ships take their trips from Southampton to the Canary Islands, the Mediterranean, the Baltic and the Norwegian Fjords.

Cruises from Dover. Dover sea port is one of the most modern ones in the UK. There are two terminals and a plenty of facilities that make your trip comfortable from the beginning. Dover is famous for White Cliffs and the city itself, have a small tour before of after cruising.

Cruises from Edinburgh. Port of Leith is one of the largest sea ports of Scotland. Where to go from Edinburgh? Scandinavia cruises start their trips from the Port of Leigh and is very popular nowadays.

Cruises from Greenock. This sea port is also situated in Scotland and they do all the best for comfortable holiday departs. It is an ocean terminal and is often a gateway for foreigners.

Cruises from Harwich. Harwich is not only a major port but also a main car ferry for the North Sea. What to see in Harwich? Redoubt Fort and Mayflower exhibition in the lighthouse museum. Who knows if you will visit Harwich again. Why not to see it’s sights and attractions?

Cruises from Hull. The port of Hull is situated on the Humber River. Cruises to Rotterdam ( Holland ) and Helsinki ( Finland ) start there.

Cruises from Liverpool. Cruise destination from Liverpool start with British Isles and end with Canary Islands! As you know Liverpool is a city of great attractions so it is a must to leave some spare time for travel sites. Liverpool is famous for its architecture and Beatles of course.

Cruises from Newcastle. The Port of Tyne is situated between Leith and Harwich and has cruises to Scandinavia and Baltic. Waterfront is famous for it’s restaurant so keep in mind to have some meal over there.

Cruises from Portsmouth. This port is situated on the south of England and for those who live in the north it will take some time to get there. Train or car, both is ok. Fred Olsen Cruises is departing from the Portsmouth and has a lot of destinations to offer.

Transatlantic or a Mediterranean cruises. If you choose one of this cruises from the United Kingdom be sure that the cruise line offer good entertainment and feeding. It may be really a long trip so be sure you will not be bored but will really enjoy your holiday!
